German
Corn
I call it that because I got the recipe from a German friend I
grew up with and this is the only way they made their corn. I
never get tired of it, it has such a unique flavor.
Saute a
half of a medium chopped onion in butter till dark in color
(the darker the more flavor, even slightly burnt!) Add the
onions to the corn of your preference (fresh off the cobb,
canned, thawed)
Mix in about one to two tablespoons of Worstershirshire sauce
depending on amount of corn, about one table spoon of Maggi
sauce, and one table spoon of butter. Heat through salt and
pepper to taste.
