Broccoli With Garlic2 pounds broccoli
Salt
1/4 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
Freshly ground black pepper
Cook the broccoli in boiling slated water for 15
minutes until almost tender. Drain and divide into
florettes. Heat the oil in a heavy pan, add the garlic and
fry gently until brown, then discard. Add the broccoli to
the pan with salt and pepper to taste. Cook gently for 10
minutes, shaking the pan. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6
servings.
