Crockpot Artichokes
5 artichokes, remove stalks and tough leaves
1 1/2 t. salt
8 peppercorns
2 stalks celery, cut up
1/2 to 1 lemon, sliced
2 c. boiling water
Cut tops off artichokes. Combine all ingredients in
crockpot. Cook on High 4 - 5 hours.
Dippin' Sauce:
1/4 c. mayo
1/4 c. sour cream
1 T. hot sauce
1/2 t. coarse ground black pepper
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 t. chipotle pepper
Mix together & keep in fridge until ready to use. This is
also a great chip dip!
