Cheese-Bacon Puffs.
2 eggs
1 cup finely grated Cheddar cheese
2 tsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp., dry mustard
6 slices white bread
24 (1-inch) bacon squares
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, beat eggs
with fork. Add grated cheese, onion and dried mustard. Stir
until well blended. Trim and cut each slice of bread in four.
Arrange on baking pan or sheet and spoon one heaping tsp. of
cheese mixture onto each piece. Top each with a piece of
bacon. Bake 15 minutes or until bread is toasted and topping
is slightly puffed.
