Garlic
and Oil Sauce.
2/3 cup virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1/3 cup reserved spaghetti cooking water
In frying pan heat the oil. Add the garlic and saute until
soft. Add the salt and pepper. Add reserved pasta cooking
water. Blend well. Cook over low heat 1 minute. Pour the sauce
over hot spaghetti and toss to coat. Serve immediately. You
can also sprinkle bread crumbs that have been sauteed in olive
oil over spaghetti.
