German Pancake
Try this for breakfast, it is fun. It gets very big and
puffy in the oven like nothing you have eaten before!
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Dash of fresh grated nutmeg
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons of confectioners' sugar
lemon juice of 1/2 a lemon

Preheat the oven to the 425F. degree setting. In a bowl
combine the flour, milk, eggs and nutmeg. Beat but leave a
little bit lumpy. In a 12" skillet melt the butter. Make
sure the skillet is oven-proof. When the butter gets
really hot pour the batter into the skillet and
immediately place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 to
20 minutes. Sprinkle with the sugar and lemon juice and
use your favorite jam, syrup of topping. It's a lot of fun
to make.
