Coos Bay Sandwich

4 slices Wolferman's 1910 Original Recipe English
Muffin Bread, toasted
3 cups (12 ounces) grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons mayonnaise
1 cup (6 ounces) canned crab meat, drained

Place grated cheese, milk, sugar and salt in blender or food processor. Blend or process until mixture is smooth. Spread each toasted slice of bread with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise. Arrange bread, mayonnaise side up on broiler pan. Spoon 1/4 crab meat on each bread slice. Top mixture with 1/8 cheese mixture. Broil 3 to 5 inches for heat until cheese is golden and bubbly. (If desired sandwiches may be baked in preheated 375F. degree oven for 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.) Makes 4 servings.
