7 cups red and white cabbage, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons fish sauce
5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2-10 ounce New York strip steaks
2 shallots, thinly sliced
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/3 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
3 tablespoons lemongrass, minced
1 teaspoon minced and seeded Thai chili
Salt and pepper the steak and grill to desired doneness.
Slice steaks into thin strips. Combine all the other
ingredients in a bowl and toss. Place steak slices on top of
the cabbage salad combination and serve
