Marlboro Stew
5 cups beef, cubed
1 - 28 oz. Can tomatoes
2 TBS all purpose flour
3 TBS chili powder
1 TBS paprika
1 TBS cinnamon
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp. Salt
½-to-1 tsp dry crushed red pepper
3 TBS lard
2 cups diced potatoes
2 chopped onions
2 cups sliced carrots
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp black pepper
Coat the beef in the 2 TBS flour, 1 TBS paprika, 1 tsp chili
powder, ½ tsp black pepper and fry in fry pan, until browned.
Add beef mixture to crock-pot, and add ALL the rest of the
ingredients, stir well. Cover and cook on low, 9-11 hours.
GREAT, served with fresh bread!
