Cauliflower Sausage Casserole
1-1 10 0z package frozen cauliflower
1- 8 oz package sausage links
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Cook cauliflower as directed on package, drain. Brown sausage
lightly. Remove from grease. In a pan, blend butter, milk,
salt and flour for the white sauce. Cook until thick. Place
1/2 of the sausage links in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Add
cauliflower and the rest of links on top. Pour the white sauce
to which the cheese has been added over all. Top with bread
crumbs. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
This recipe came from my mom's home made cook book. I remember
eating this when I was a little girl. I like it so and want to
share it with all.
