The Queen Mother was a keen
angler when in her native Scotland and preferred plain and
simple food
4 slices salmon (about ¾
in/2 cm thick)
salt and pepper
2 tbsp melted butter
Glaze the salmon slices with
a moist cloth and brush over with melted butter. Season with
salt and pepper on both sides. Place the slices under a hot
broiler. Broil each side for 5 minutes.
