Grilled Tandoori Salmon

Ingredients
4 medium salmon steaks
Juice of a lemon
1-2 tbsp Tandoori paste
1 tbsp yogurt
For the sauce
150ml (1/4 pint) thick natural yogurt
1 tsp oil
4 inch piece cucumber
1/2 tsp unsweetened mint sauce or 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh
mint
1/4 tsp garam masala
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Line the grill pan with foil and preheat the grill.
Wash and dry the salmon steaks. Mix the Tandoori paste with
the tablespoon of yogurt, the oil and half the lemon juice.
Spread this mixture over the both sides of the fish and let it
stand for about 5 minutes.
For the sauce
Peel and seed the cucumber, then cut into tiny dice, beat the
mint into the yogurt, add the cucumber and sharpen the flavour
with a little of the reserved lemon juice. Spoon into a small
bowl and sprinkle on the garam masala.
Place the marinated salmon steaks on the grill rack and
cook close to the heat for about 4-5 minutes each side.
