GERMAN CHICKEN
IN BEER
3 1/2 lb chicken fryer
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 tbs butter
1 onion sliced thin
1 1/3 cups beer
1/2 cup cream
2 tbs minced parsley
Mix flour, salt, pepper. Roll chicken pieces in flour. Melt
butter in heavy pan and brown chicken with onion. when well
browned add the beer. Cover and cook low for about 40 minutes
or chicken tender. add cream and parsley and heat through but
don't boil. Serves 4
