Frog Legs in Beer Batter
Ingredients: -three pounds of frog legs -one cup of flour -1/2
teaspoons paprika -1/2 teaspoons chopped parsley -one teaspoon
salt -1/8 teaspoon pepper -3/4 cup beer -sauces: teriyaki,
sweet and sour, or barbeque
Directions: -cut meat off the frog's legs and chop into chunks
-combine flour, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl,
using a wire whisk -gradually add beer and blend until smooth
-pour two inches of cooking oil into a deep saucepan and heat
to 350 degrees -place frog meat in batter and coat well -place
six to eight pieces in hot oil using tongs -cook until frog
meat is no longer pink in the middle, about three to five
minutes -remove frog legs from oil with tongs and drain on
paper towels -repeat with remaining pieces, keeping cooked
pieces warm -serve with your favorite dipping sauce
