West Pork Chops
6 pork chops
3 tbsp oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 tsp chili powder
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup uncooked regular rice
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 1/4 cup water
2 tsp salt
Brown chops in oil and remove from skillet. Brown onion
slices and remove from skillet. Stir in chili powder and cook
2 minutes. Add green pepper, rice, tomato sauce, water and
salt. Heat to boiling. Pour into a shallow baking dish.
Arrange pork chops over rice and and place onion slices on
top. Cover dish and bake1 hour at 375
