Brown Stew Fish
INGREDIENTS :
2 lb. large fish (snapper, king fish, jack)
1 medium onion
Salt & Pepper
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 blades of escallion
sprigs of thyme
1 tablespoon butter
water
1 tablespoon flour
oil for frying
2 tablespoon ketchup
METHOD:
Fry Fish lightly. Sauté sliced seasonings in oil or butter
to make brown sauce. Slowly add flour to mixture. Cook till
brown. Add water, ketchup. Add pepper & salt to taste. Put
the fish in a deep pot. Pour on the sauce. Simmer for 15
minutes
