Barbeque Beef and Bean Bake

Bake at 375 degs.F for 40 minutes
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 sweet green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 can (16 ounces) baked beans
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans rinsed and drained
1/2 bottled barbeque sauce
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon prepared spicy-brown mustard
Heat oven to 375 degs. F.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Add onion and green pepper, cook, stirring, for six minutes
or until softened.
Add garlic and ground beef; cook, breaking up meat with
wooden spoon, for 4 to 6 minutes or until meat is no longer
pink. Carefully drain off excess liquid from skillet.
Stir baked beans, kidney beans, barbeque sauce, molasses,
Worcestershire sauce and mustard into meat mixture.
Scrape into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, in 375 degs. F. oven for 40 minutes, until
liquid has evaporated and mixture thickened.
