Cherry-Walnut Cake
1 box white cake mix
1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
2 tablespoons almond extract
2 egg whites
1 cup water
18 maraschino cherries, finely chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Place cake mix, cherry juice, almond extract, egg whites
and water in large mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer on
low. Increase speed to medium and beat for about 4 minutes.
Add cherries and walnuts; and mix. Pour into 2 greased and
floured heart shaped pans. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven
for 20 minutes or until tester placed in center comes out
clean. Remove from oven and cool.
