Apple Orange Nut Bread

1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
1 1/2 cups chopped apple
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup chopped nuts

Combine orange juice and apple in a small bowl, set aside. Blend shortening and sugar in a med. bowl until creamy; add egg, beating well. Stir in apple mixture. Combine flour, baking powder and
soda; beat into creamed mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into a greased 10-inch tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done and brown.
