Apple
Crisp.
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1/2 cup quick or old-fashioned oats, raw.
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
6 cups peeled, sliced apples
Cream or Half and Half.
Mix together sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter
till mixture is crumbly. Arrange half the apple slices in a
buttered 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle 1/2 the sugar mixture
over the apples. Top with the remaining apples and sprinkle
with the remaining sugar mixture. Bake in a 350 degree oven
for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with
cream of half and half.
