Apfelkuchen1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
Tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbls. milk
6 medium apples
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add lemon juice, beat for
5 minutes. Then add 1/2 the flour. Beat this in and then
beat in the other 1/2 of the flour and baking powder. Add
the milk. Pour the dough into a greased 9" square cake
pan. Put peeled and quartered apples on top. Bake 30 to 40
minutes at 375F. degrees. Let cake cool, then sprinkle
with powdered sugar.
