Mustard Barbecue Sauce
1 cup chicken or beef broth
1 cup prepared mustard
1/2 cup red wine vinegar or cider vinegar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp butter or margarine
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a
boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes. Remove
from heat. Cool. makes 2 1/3 cups
