Italian Clam DipIn a medium size frying pan; saute 1
medium size onion in a 1/4 pound of butter or margarine. Add
one minced clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon of parsley, 1 teaspoon
of oregano, and a dash of Tabasco. Cook for a few minutes.
Stir in a 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs. Add 2 cans of
minced clams and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and mix. Transfer
to a baking dish. Top with grated cheddar cheese, paprika and
Parmesan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350F. degrees. Stir half
way through baking. Serve hot with crackers.
