THE MAD CHEF

Mad’s and Orlando Miracle Brooke Wycoffe’s Cheesy Shell Bake

1 lb. Ground Beef
½ cup Chopped Onion
½ cup Chopped Green Pepper
1 Clove Garlic
15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
1 ½ Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Tbs. Fresh Parsley or 1 Tsp Dried Parsley
5 Cups Small Shells
¼ Tsp. Pepper

Cook pasta shells. In small bowls combine 1 cup cheese, sour cream and parsley. Brown beef until almost done. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until onion is tender NOT brown. Pour off excess fat. Stir in tomato sauce and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes. Combine 1 ½ cups meat sauce with half of shells. Put in casserole dish. Spread cheese mixture over shells. Top with remaining shells & meat sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake covered @ 350 for 20 minutes. Uncover. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is light brown.
