Hi! I have a recipe that calls for oleo, but I have no idea what it is. So, what is it, and is there anything that can be substituted for it? Thanks!

they are asking for sticks of oleo. 4 sticks for the cake and 2 sticks for the frosting. i'm thinking maybe it's like margarine/butter??

You are right!! Oleo is margarine or butter too, or oil like vegetal oil used to fry, but in this case, for a cake, for sure is margarine or butter, butter sometimes gives a better taste.
