My name is Patty Gollazzo. I've been hired to write a column every month for the recipeexchange! That means I can tawk here all the time! How beautiful is that! I am very excited to share with all of you some fabulous cooking tips, while testing some of your and my favorite dishes. I'll even share some of my secret family recipes now and then with you. I'm telling you we are going to have a blast, you and me! Cappish?

Oh my Gawd!, Oh my Gawd! I know what your thinking. "With these gorgeous red nails, poifect hair, teriffic wardrobe and a figure to die for, how on earth are you going to teach us about cooking?" Well I know that my God given good looks may throw you all for a loop, but I am talented cook too, no? Oh my goodness, I was brought up in a house filled with Italian relatives who can cook fantastic. I'm telling you I learned to cook lots of Italian foods, my family coming from Sicily and all, but I also wanted to learn how to cook other kinds of foods too. I experimented with curries, tandooris and oh yea, did I mention Italian?

Oh gosh, you and me will have a lot of fun, but I warn you that it gets very distracting round here. This is because I have The Family. You know exactly what I mean. It's hard to concentrate when the phone always rings. It's either my Motha or brotha or that no good sister of mine... In fact I could confidently say that never, never, never have I ever cooked a meal without being interrupted with something. I will admit that some times it turns into a disasta! You may say Patty wait a minute, wait a minute pay attention and don't be so stupid! Just remember I can't hear you!

I hope my antics don't disturb you but I am doing my best on concentrating. Burning a roast and having bad luck in my kitchen can always be fixed I say. All I have to do is open up all the windas. I'm so happy to be able to tawk to you in this column and share my experiences cooking with you. My Gawd, tawking about always messing up.
